Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator to perform a range of cost‑driven duties on construction projects in Kentucky. You will handle quantity take‑offs, cost research, and support OPCC development using Timberline, while coordinating with project managers and procurement personnel.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of estimating or cost analysis experience, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take‑offs and researching costs.
• Utilizes Timberline to prepare OPCCs and design‑build projects.
• Develops or assists in development of purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and applications for payment.
