Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator to support cost planning and budgeting for construction projects in the United States. The role involves quantity take-offs, cost research, and preparation of OPCCs for design-build and traditional projects.

You will work with procurement, project managers and field teams to gather pricing data, produce reliable cost estimates and support bid activities across multiple project types and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Assists in preparation of Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC).
• Researches historical data and compiles reports to guide estimates.
• Generates or reviews bid documents, RFIs and submittals.
