Qualifications

• Travel up to 10% or less depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Produces accurate quantity and material take-offs from plans and specs for estimate preparation.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material unit pricing for the project.
• Applies work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Coordinates material pricing from vendors and others to develop pricing for basic elements.
• Requests outsource pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Contributes to key estimating deliverables.
• Supports conceptual estimating with basic model development for review by senior staff.
• Develops budgets and purchasing plans with minimal oversight.
• Coordinates document flow during estimate preparation.
• Provides administrative logging of estimates.
• Performs additional duties as required.
