Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator with strong analytical and communication skills to support project controls and bid activities. The role involves quantity take-offs, cost research, and OPCC preparation as part of design-build efforts.

Travel may be required as projects span multiple sites in the United States. The right candidate will contribute to scheduling, cost tracking, and coordination with field teams while ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks incl. quantity take-offs and cost research.
• UsesTimberline to prepare OPCC and design-build projects.
• Develops or assists in development of purchase orders, subcontracts and change orders.
• Develops detailed baseline schedules for engineering and construction portions of projects.
