Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Bellevue, WA team. You will perform quantity takeoffs, prepare OPCCs with Timberline, and research costs for varied construction projects.

You will coordinate with PMs and subcontractors, support bid activities, and assist with schedules and change management. The role requires 3 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience preferred; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take‑offs and cost research.
• Prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) using Timberline.
• Research historical data and compile reports to guide future estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers/subcontractors for current pricing.
• Develop project schedules and support change management activities.
• Produce submittals, RFI responses, and assist with bids.
• Support field teams with cost control and QA/QC documentation.
• Assist with BIM/VDC modeling and drone data analysis for project insights.
