Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Construction Estimator in North Olmsted, OH for permanent, on-site work. The role offers the chance to prepare detailed estimates for hospital, education, school, commercial, and multifamily projects with cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will review plans, calculate quantities, assess risks, and present findings to management, leveraging advanced estimation tools and strong analytical skills. A minimum 5 years’ experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role.
• Proven experience estimating construction costs for hospital, higher education, school, commercial, federal/state/government, retail and multifamily projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills; ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in cost estimation software and cost control techniques.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects across various sectors including Hospital, Higher Education, School, Commercial, Federal or State or Government Construction, Retail Construction, and Multifamily Construction. • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects across various sectors including hospital, higher education, school, commercial, federal or state or government construction, retail construction, and multifamily construction.
• Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other relevant certification would be considered an advantage.
