• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for varied construction projects (materials, labor, equipment, timelines).
• Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to guide estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subs to finalize cost estimates.
• Conduct risk analyses to identify potential issues and cost-saving solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and estimating techniques.
• Advise on planning, scheduling, and cost-control strategies.
• Report project status, risks, and overruns to management.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
2. Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Utilize advanced software tools such as OST for estimating purposes.
4. Prepare and submit competitive project bids.

10. Regularly report to management on project status, potential risks, and cost overruns.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a proven track record in the healthcare, higher education, school, commercial, federal/state/government construction, and disaster construction sectors.
3. Proficiency in estimating software such as OST.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent numerical skills and ability to produce accurate, detailed estimates.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present cost estimates to clients, stakeholders, and team members clearly and convincingly.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential cost overruns and propose cost-effective solutions.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism, with a commitment to upholding company standards and ethics.
10. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
