Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Estimator in Lynn, MA for an on-site, permanent role. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze materials and labor, and collaborate with project managers to shape budgets and schedules.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation.
• Proven experience in hospital, higher education, school, commercial, federal or state or government construction, government construction, federal construction, cost estimation, commercial construction, municipal construction, marine construction, restaurant construction, historical construction.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in computer software for job costing, scheduling, estimating, and project management.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in various construction sectors including hospital, higher education, school, commercial, federal or state or government construction, and more. You will be responsible for estimating costs for our diverse construction projects and will play a crucial role in the financial planning of our construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and blueprints.
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other qualification will be a plus.
