Jobot, a leading construction firm, is seeking a seasoned estimator in Detroit to join our team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors, analyze blueprints and specifications, and identify value-engineering opportunities. We offer growth, training, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating (commercial/healthcare/industrial).
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore or Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects aligned with client needs and goals.
• Collaborate with project managers, Architects, and subcontractors to gather requirements.
• Analyze blueprints, specs, and proposals to create comprehensive estimates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value-engineering recommendations.
• Manage bid submissions and ensure documentation is completed on time.

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year
