Job summary

The Warren CAT compact construction sales representative builds and maintains relationships to promote the sale, rental, and leasing of compact construction equipment in the Tulsa, OK area. You will develop territory growth plans, manage a sales pipeline, and coordinate with service, parts and credit teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to analyze customer equipment needs and recommend solutions.
• Knowledge of equipment financing, leasing, and rental options preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.
• Ability to handle problems with several variables in standardized situations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads from various sources.
• Travel throughout the territory to call on regular and prospective customers and solicit orders.
• Demonstrate products and emphasize salable features.
• Achieve sales, rental, and market share objectives in the territory.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Quote prices and prepare sales contracts; estimate delivery dates.
• Prepare business transaction reports and maintain expense accounts.
• Coordinate customer training and collaborate with Parts, Service, Rental, and Credit teams.
• Enter new customer data into CRM and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
• Investigate and resolve delivery-related problems; attend trade shows.
