Job summary

Van Wall Equipment in Perry, IA is seeking an outside sales-focused professional to sell new and used construction and turf equipment. You will work with new and existing customers, primarily in outside sales, and represent the dealership in promoting products and financing options.

Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, following the sales process, handling customer data, and participating in training events to stay current on equipment values and financing terms.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of compact construction products.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A CDL (or be able to get) and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of competitive activity & products communicating to management, accordingly.

• Knows and follows a defined sales process.
• Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment.
• Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events.
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
• Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
