Job summary

Indy Equipment & Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive rental contracts, supply sales, and compact equipment sales across Northeast Ohio. The role involves traveling between locations and building a strong customer base within Cuyahoga, Medina, Lorain, and Summit Counties.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of sales experience in construction or related industries, a valid driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years previous sales experience preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience within the construction or construction materials industry.
• Good driving record.
• Must present a professional reflection of the company.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiating new business via cold calls, scheduling appointments, visiting jobs sites, and telemarketing.
• Maintaining current accounts, community, and business contacts.
• Training new customers on new products and/or new features.
• Occasionally providing training to new sales reps.
• Researching and preparing supply sales orders and quotes in a timely manner for customers.
• Providing customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, product suitability, pricing, and availability by utilizing deep product knowledge and performing research.
• Creating quality customer base within Cuyahoga, Medina, Lorain, and Summit Counties.
• Attending scheduled training events and continually improving product knowledge.
