Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide. This role begins as a contingent position with potential to convert to permanent, supporting warranty analysis, emerging tech implementation, and field engineering across EPC projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience; Engineer I level.
  • EIT certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site work and remote coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty Forensics: gather field data, photos, and installation details to support warranty evaluations.
  • Emerging Technologies Implementation: support GPS pile driving, drone topo capture, and machine control datasets.
  • Construction Engineering Support During Operations: coordinate drawing updates, manage RFIs, and ensure timely communications.
  • Pile Load Testing Support During Initial Design: assist with scheduling, test setup, and data documentation.
  • General Engineering Responsibilities: conduct drawing reviews, site visits, and constructability assessments.
