Job summary

Cornerstone Inc. seeks a Manager of Environmental Health and Safety to lead comprehensive safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance across safety, health, and environmental disciplines.

You will inspect facilities, maintain SDS records, and report findings to promote a proactive safety culture. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Timberline, and travel as needed to construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline required.
• Five+ years in Safety, preferably in construction.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the implementation of comprehensive safety programs.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain safety data sheets and ensure accessibility as needed.
• Manage OSHA recordkeeping and EPA recordkeeping as required.
• Oversee Workers' Compensation processes.
• Draft detailed inspection reports to document findings.
• Communicate safety administration protocols to employees.
• Administer and report on the work safety program.
