Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for our Peachtree City, GA plant to lead EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety initiatives across the site. You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate with regional EHS teams on corporate projects.

Responsibilities include developing policies, leading incident investigations, conducting training, and maintaining compliance calendars while supporting capital projects and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related Science field required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in EHS function within a Manufacturing setting with direct responsibility for EHS activity.
• Preferred EHS leadership experience and professional certifications (e.g., ASP, CSP, IHIT, CIH, CHMM).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance at assigned locations.
• Establish and enforce local safe-work policies and procedures.
• Lead managers and teams in promoting safe operating procedures.
• Develop procedures aligning local programs with corporate incident reporting/investigation.
• Provide EHS technical expertise to investigation teams and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct EHS training to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Maintain EHS compliance calendar for regulatory activities.
• Participate in EHS committees and corporate initiatives.
• Ensure mandatory regulatory event reporting (OSHA 300 log, serious incidents).
• Collaborate to develop corrective action plans and improve EHS performance.
• Lead location EHS reviews with leadership and management teams.
• Conduct annual reviews/audits of EHS policies and compliance.
• Represent local EHS on capital projects for hazard review and permitting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
