Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer (Construction Safety) to lead EHS on a fast-paced Cape Canaveral construction project, with relocation to Brownsville, TX as needed.

The role requires hands-on EHS expertise across OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and agency requirements, coordinating with leadership to implement safe work practices, conduct hazard assessments, and train personnel. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience designing and overseeing EHS programs on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily EHS site management for a fast-paced construction project.
• Audit contractor EHS programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop hazard assessments and PPE requirements.
