Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer (Construction Safety) to lead EHS on a major Cape Canaveral construction project. You will enforce contractor safety programs, develop hazard assessments, and drive regulatory compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and NIOSH standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and construction safety experience; CHST/CSP certifications are preferred, along with bilingual capability in English and Spanish. Relocation to Brownsville, TX may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, development and oversight of EHS within construction.
• CHST and CSP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day EHS site management on a fast-paced construction project.
• Audit and enforce contractor EHS programs for SpaceX operations.
• Develop hazard assessments and PPE requirements; implement safety policies.
• Investigate incidents and write root-cause reports.
