Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Crew Lead to support the Crew Foreman in delivering quality post-frame buildings. You will help develop a positive team culture, meet safety standards, and drive profitable projects with hands-on leadership in framing, footings, and siding.

The role requires 3+ years in construction and a Class A CDL or ability to obtain one in 6 months, with OSHA 10-hour and safety certifications encouraged. Schedule: 6am–6pm, occasional Saturdays, 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in building construction.
• Class A CDL license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Desire to obtain OSHA 10-hour and safety certifications once hired.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and provide leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Follow Morton safety procedures and construction standards.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Lead tasks for footing, framing, siding, doors and trims.
• Provide leadership and organizational skills to the crew.
• Train new hires and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a safe, productive working environment.
• Contribute to a positive customer construction experience.
• Help coordinate crew activities and project goals.
