Morton Buildings, Inc. is hiring a Construction Crew Lead to support the Crew Foreman in delivering high-quality post-frame buildings. You will guide a skilled crew, follow construction plans, ensure safety, and drive profitability while maintaining a positive customer experience.

The role offers opportunities for career advancement, requires 25% travel, and pays $25.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience. A Class A CDL is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in building construction.
• Class A CDL license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Willingness to travel 25% (overnight travel possible).

Responsibilities

• Keep current with and apply safety and construction procedures to every building.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Lead the crew in tasks such as footings, framing, siding, roofing and trim to ensure quality, safety and profitability.
• Provide leadership and assist the Crew Foreman in delivering a positive customer experience.
• Assist in training new hires and ongoing crew development.
• Foster a safe, organized, productive and respectful workplace environment.
