Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is the industry leader in post-frame construction and seeks a Service Crew Lead to assist the Crew Foreman in delivering quality projects nationwide. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer-focused construction execution.

The position requires reading construction plans, physical work in varying weather, and occasional overnight travel. CDL A license and prior post-frame experience are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and expertise in quality building construction.
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Participation in MBI formal training programs.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with CDL A is required.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and at various heights.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and weather conditions.
• Skills to operate construction hand tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Keep current with and apply the Morton Buildings safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Execute tasks to complete quality projects (footings, framing, windows/doors, siding/roofing, trims).
• Willing to travel with overnight stay up to 10% of the time.
• Provide leadership for the crew in all building construction aspects.
