White Cap is hiring immediately for a Counter Sales Associate on-site in the United States. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers while processing orders and providing accurate quotes.

Knowledge of products and applications, plus the ability to upsell, will help you succeed. The job includes diverse responsibilities and growth opportunities within a well-established distributor of construction materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service.
• Familiarity with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Dependable, fast-paced, and committed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
• Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers.
• Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and their applications; provides technical advice and troubleshoots customer issues.
• Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
