Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead a 24/7 operations team in support of critical facilities. The role includes overseeing maintenance, optimizing HVAC and cooling systems, and coordinating with vendors to ensure uninterrupted uptime.

The ideal candidate has a four-year engineering degree, extensive facility management experience, and strong client interaction skills. The position requires readiness to work in demanding environments and to act as backup to the Facility Manager

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering with professional registration if required.
• Experience in facility operations, data centers or mission critical facilities.
• Ability to manage 24/7 operations and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 24/7 Operations department and direct management of 12 operators.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and PM scheduling.
• Coordinate system outages, vendor activities, and customer communications.
