Job summary

Fluor Corporation (Warrenton, VA) seeks a Chief Engineer (TS/SCI w/Poly) to lead 24/7 operations for a data-center style facility supporting government missions.

You will supervise a twelve-person team, drive PM programs, and optimize HVAC systems for uptime and efficiency. A four-year engineering degree with 7+ years of experience, strong communication, and CMMS Maximo proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering with seven+ years of experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, and vendors.
• Knowledge of facility operations and local codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 24/7 Operations department and direct management of twelve operators.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for facility assets.
• Analyze HVAC and critical systems performance, including data center cooling.
• Perform root cause analysis and reporting for system failures.
• Serve as on-call resource for after-hours facility issues.
• Develop SOPs/MOPs/EOPs for 24/7 operations staff.
• Coordinate vendor maintenance contracts and outage scheduling.
• Assist Configuration Manager with CMMS data accuracy and QC.
