Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, AL, onsite, seeks a Contracts Administrator – Construction/AEC to interpret and manage construction contracts and amendments. You’ll support internal teams and track milestones to keep projects moving smoothly.

The candidate should have experience in architecture, engineering, or construction contract language, knowledge of AIA documents, and strong attention to risk and documentation controls.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Ability to interpret and explain construction contract language to non-contract stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AIA contract documents or similar construction agreements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and track construction-related contracts and amendments
• Interpret contract language and support internal teams, including accounting
• Coordinate approvals, signatures, and required documentation
• Maintain accurate contract records, logs, and version control
• Track insurance certificates, compliance items, and key milestones
• Support consultant agreements and alignment with prime contracts
• Assist with contract closeout documentation
