Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a motivated Superintendent Co-op to join our team. You will work on jobsites alongside senior field personnel, learning to manage schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and keep projects on track from start to finish.

You will gain valuable hands-on experience across industries, while developing essential construction management skills and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Co-op or intern construction experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing/walking, uneven terrain, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Work on jobsites and gain hands-on experience from expert field personnel on projects across industries (commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment, etc.).
• Learn scheduling, coordination with subcontractors, and how to run a project smoothly from start to finish with supervision.
• Contribute to project success by performing critical tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
