Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a motivated Superintendent Intern to join our team for the summer. You will assist seasoned superintendents on diverse projects, learn scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project delivery from start to finish.

This internship offers hands-on field experience, housing near the jobsite, per diem for meals, and the potential to transition into a full-time role after graduation. A strong work ethic and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree programs.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing or walking, varying terrain, lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on jobsites and gain hands-on experience from field personnel.
• Learn scheduling, subcontractor communication, and how to run a project smoothly from start to finish.
• Contribute to critical tasks across the project life cycle.
