Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the market relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms in your region, driving the pipeline and proposals that convert to signed testing and inspection work. 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the posting market.
Disciplined pipeline habits: forecastable and honest.
Comfortable discussing specs and schedules with superintendents and owners.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
Own relationships end to end; track permits, bid boards, and project announcements.
Run the pursuit pipeline in the CRM from first contact through proposal and signed agreement.
Coordinate proposals with engineering: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
Represent the company at industry events; report pipeline and results monthly.
