Job summary

Valcourt in Chicago, IL is seeking a Business Development Manager to build a portfolio of target customers and educate them about our waterproofing and construction services.

You will develop a strong pipeline, coordinate with estimating, and plan events, tradeshowS, webinars to differentiate us in the market.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction, a Bachelor’s Degree, travel readiness, and excellent communication; travel to regional trainings is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or waterproofing field.
• Strong MS Office and CRM skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new customers and projects.
• Plan and attend events, tradeshows, webinars, presentations and conferences with Marketing and Sales.
• Generate business through outbound lead activity and prospecting.
• Qualify inbound leads and coordinate with estimating to prepare proposals.
• Prepare proposals and present project documentation to clientele for review and negotiation.
