Motive Workforce is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper for an onsite role in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on using QuickBooks Online and Desktop Enterprise to manage daily transactions, assist with month-end close, and maintain accurate financial records for a construction-focused business.

Experience in construction or electrical contracting is preferred. The position offers a full-time onsite schedule with a compensation range of $27-$32 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general bookkeeping.
• Construction/electrical contracting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Desktop Enterprise.
• Record daily transactions, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements and GL accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Process vendor invoices, payments and customer billing.
• Track receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Record customer payments, deposits and card transactions.
• Coordinate with project managers on invoices, PO and expenses.
• Maintain subcontractor payment records.
