Job summary

AcctPositions in NYC is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a Construction background to join our finance team. You will manage journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

The role handles AP/AR, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, payroll assistance, budgeting, and financial reporting. Onsite 9-5 or 8-4, with a focus on GAAP compliance and timely audits.

Qualifications

• Experience with AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and payroll.
• Construction experience required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, or similar accounting software; AIA Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and invoice processing.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits and GAAP compliance.
