Grahamjobs in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Billing Specialist for an in-person role to support the Contracting/Rigging division by preparing and processing customer invoices in collaboration with the Billing Manager, Project Managers, Vice President, and President.

You will prepare monthly progress billings using SOV and AIA formats, review contracts and change orders for accuracy, maintain lien waivers and sworn statements, coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and accounting staff

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Analytical, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel formulas.
• Billing, project accounting, accounts receivable, contract administration, or construction administration experience in construction, contracting, industrial, logistics, or specialty subcontracting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly progress billings and invoices using project Schedules of Values (SOV) and AIA formats.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, change orders, project progress, prior billings, storage, and retainage for accuracy.
• Maintain AIA payment applications, supporting schedules, lien waivers, lien releases, sworn statements, and other compliance documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and accounting staff to resolve billing, documentation, and payment issues.
• Submit accurate billings within established monthly deadlines.
• Cross-train in job cost accounts payable, payroll preparation, and expense report payments.
