Job summary

LHH US in Seattle is seeking a Billing Specialist for a temporary-to-hire role. You will manage invoicing, lien waivers, and collections, collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate billing and strong client relationships. This is an in-office position in downtown Seattle.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of accounting or billing experience, excellent attention to detail, and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
• At least three years of billing, operations, or accounting experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue progress billings, time-and-material invoices, and contract-based billings in accordance with project agreements and construction schedules.
• Review subcontractor costs, change orders, lien releases, and other project documentation to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting staff to track project budgets, billing milestones, retainage balances, and job cost allocations.
• Research and resolve client billing discrepancies, payment delays, and contract-related invoicing issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on outstanding invoices, and assist with collections to support healthy project cash flow.
• Support month-end close by reconciling billing records, retainage receivables, and project accounts while preparing construction billing and revenue reports.
