Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Accountant focusing heavily on Accounts Receivable within a SaaS subscription billing environment. This role is responsible for accurate and timely billing, cash collections, and cash application activities to support proper revenue recognition and ensure a seamless customer payment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices for subscription-based services.
• Maintain billing schedules, recurring invoices, and contract-driven billing events.
• Manage the collections process for assigned accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Communicate with customers in a professional, solutions-oriented manner regarding overdue balances, disputes, and payment arrangements.
• Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) accurately and promptly.
• Utilize Ariba and other procurement/billing portals to process invoices, resolve issues, and manage customer payment workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or General Accounting.
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based revenue model is required.
• Hands‑on Ariba experience is required
• Strong understanding of billing workflows, collections strategy, and cash application processes.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and revenue accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce Billing, or similar a plus).

Compensation

$75,000-$85,000
