Professional Diversified Flooring, Inc is seeking a Billing Specialist in Irvine to own end-to-end billing and collections for multiple projects. You will verify contracts, prepare and submit progress billings, manage retention and compliance paperwork, and ensure timely cash flow through various customer portals.

The role emphasizes accuracy, responsiveness, and collaboration with Project Managers and the accounting team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing or project accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• AR accounting, progress billing, collections.
• Medium-to-advanced Excel skills and proficient in Excel formulas and data handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full-time, in-person role in Irvine office; not remote.

Responsibilities

• Verify contracts, POs, and change orders before first bill.
• Submit accurate progress billings (AIA forms, GC-specific forms, portal invoices).
• Maintain schedules of values and apply retention rules.
• Submit through customer portals (Textura, GCPay, Procore Pay, Coupa).
• Track retention balances and timely billings; ensure compliance documentation.
