Cornerstone Concilium seeks an experienced Construction Invoicing Specialist to review and verify invoices, validate against contracts and schedules, and ensure proper supporting documentation. The role collaborates with project management, finance, and contractors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in construction billing, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction invoicing, billing reviews, and project financials.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of contracts, billing procedures, payment processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience reviewing contractor payment applications and supporting documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify construction invoices for accuracy, completeness, and contract compliance.
• Validate billed amounts against contracts, SOVs, change orders, and project progress.
• Ensure documentation, payroll records, and submissions support billing.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed records of invoices, approvals, and correspondence.
• Support monthly invoice review workflows to ensure timely processing and payment.
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and summaries on invoice status and aging.
• Monitor submissions for regulatory requirements and contract obligations.
• Communicate invoice-related risks and trends to management.
• Collaborate with project controls, finance, and accounting for forecasting and accruals.
