Job summary

AES Corporation in the United States seeks a Billing and Revenue Support Team Leader–Construction to lead a skilled group focused on new construction processes and revenue management. You will coach, monitor performance, and align goals with regulatory targets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize customer experience and financial outcomes.

Qualifications include 3+ years in customer service with team leadership, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong Excel/MS

Qualifications

3+ years in customer service with at least 1 year leading and managing teams.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent with experience.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
Experience handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines for self and team.
Knowledge of utility regulatory guidelines relevant to the business.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of new construction representatives to enhance their performance and career development.
Ensure coaching sessions are effective and consistent for all team members.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of customer service functions, implementing improvements as needed.
Communicate and enforce customer service policies and procedures.
Foster a culture aligned with Safety First, Highest Standards, and All Together.
Ensure the team meets or exceeds targets and maintains high-quality standards.
Collaborate with other team leaders and managers to improve key metrics.
Assist in creating and adhering to financial and performance targets.
Work with the local union to maintain productive relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
