Job summary

Horizon is seeking a Construction Billing & Compliance Administrator to support the financial and administrative success of construction projects. You will handle billing, AP support, contract compliance, lien waivers, and project closeout documentation.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, title companies, and the Accounting team to ensure accurate documentation, meet deadlines, and keep payments moving smoothly through each project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Textura, CMiC, or a similar construction accounting/ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly construction draw requests and SOVs.
• Review invoices, AP and job cost activity; coordinate with PMs for approvals.
• Verify contracts, W-9s, insurance certificates before initial payments.
• Manage lien waivers, sworn statements, and project closeout docs.
• Coordinate with title companies and vendors to ensure timely payments.
