Job summary

MetroWall is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist to manage project billing and actively collect outstanding receivables. You will maintain project records, submit payment applications, and follow each billing through approval and payment. A strong focus on collections and coordination with project managers is essential.

You will also support the transition to Epicor, learning new software and adapting existing processes to ensure accurate billing and accounts receivable across systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in billing, AR, or collections with construction billing knowledge.
• Ability to manage collections independently and resolve payment issues.
• Understanding of construction contracts related to billing and retainage.
• Experience with QuickBooks and construction billing portals (Procore, Textura, GCPay).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to reconcile data across systems.

Responsibilities

• Own regular collection follow-up with customers and contractors to obtain payment commitments.
• Review AR aging and prioritize overdue balances and retainage with clear records.
• Identify and resolve payment obstacles, coordinating with PMs and accounting.
• Enter change orders, prepare invoices and AIA applications, and manage billings.
• Support ERP transition trainings and data cleanup during system implementation.
