Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the market relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms. You will manage the pipeline and drive proposals to close while collaborating with the seller-doer engineer on pricing and technical aspects.

The role focuses on building relationships, tracking permits and bid boards, and pursuing opportunities from inquiry through signed agreements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the market.</br>
• Disciplined, forecastable pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
• Own relationships end to end and pursue opportunities from first contact to signed agreement.
• Coordinate proposals with engineering: scope, pricing, and qualifications.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Report pipeline and results monthly.
