Job summary

NV2A Group LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Miami, FL to lead scheduling, manage subcontractors, and coordinate on-site activities to meet the project master schedule. You will ensure safety compliance, review subcontractor scopes, and maintain project documentation and QA/QC processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management (or 10+ years experience in lieu of degree) and 3+ years as a construction superintendent.

Qualifications

• Must have project scheduling, planning, organization and document control.
• Superior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectors.
• OSHA Certification and knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Permit document administration and control
• Complete review and understanding of subcontractor's scope of work
• Coordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety
• Control project access and traffic
• Tool/equipment inventory, coordination and rental
• Coordinate and maintain records of testing and certificates (concrete/soil)
• Coordinate with PM/PCM/PFE daily regarding progress, QA/QC and reporting
• Prepare 3-week look ahead schedule and update master schedule with PCM
• Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore)
• Maintain As Built drawings for final submittal
• Coordinate and schedule inspections
• Finalize close-out documentation
• Quality control of installed materials and equipment
• Site layout and benchmarking
