Job summary

MPI is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior construction projects in New York City. You will support scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration, coordinating with subs, architects, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in construction PM/assistant PM, a degree in CM/Eng or related field, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of construction project management or assistant project management experience.
  • Experience working on commercial interiors, workplace fit-out, tenant improvement, or corporate office construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and scheduling principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Driven, proactive, and eager to develop a long-term career in construction project management.

Responsibilities
