Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions is assisting a New York City area construction firm in hiring a Construction Accounts Receivable & Payroll Administrator. This entry-level role blends project invoicing with weekly payroll tasks and offers hands-on training in NYC construction billing, subcontractor compliance, and payroll workflows.

You'll collect timesheets, enter hours, support compliance documentation, and help maintain accurate cost codes while coordinating with field staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, or related admin work; construction exposure a plus.
• Strong math skills and keen eye for detail to catch errors early.
• Proficient communication; able to liaise with field crews and clients.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable & Project Billing with training; prepare invoices and progress billings.
• Track subcontractor docs, lien waivers, COIs, and file compliance folders.
• Monitor AR aging and assist in payment follow-ups with clients.
• Enter hours and deductions in payroll system; support weekly pay cycle.
• Assist with onboarding and respond to staff questions about pay and time tracking.
