Job summary

United Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a temporary engagement at a large electronics retail and e-commerce company in Midtown Manhattan. Role is on-site, Mon–Thu 9:00–18:00, Fri 9:00–14:00 (seasonally 13:00 end). Starting ASAP for ~3 months with possible extension based on performance.

The AR Clerk will process ~100 payments daily, match bank payments to invoices, and maintain accurate AR records in the company’s accounting system.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with bank payments and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 100 incoming payments daily for corporate accounts.
• Match incoming bank payments and credit transactions to invoices.
• Reconcile payments, invoices, and balances for accuracy.
• Enter payment data into the internal accounting system.
• Resolve discrepancies and assist with allocation issues.
• Handle invoices, memos, terms and AR documentation.
• Communicate via standardized email templates as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Accounts Receivable Clerk – AR Clerk – Cash Applications – Finance

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Clerks to join the finance team of a large, well-established electronics retail and e-commerce company in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, excellent data entry skills, and experience processing high volumes of business-to-business (B2B) payments.

Pay: $25/hour Location: Midtown West, NYC (On-site near Hudson Yards) Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; Fridays, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (seasonally adjusted to 1:00 PM dismissal during winter months) Employment Type: Temporary starting ASAP, approximately 3 months (with potential for extension depending on performance, attendance, and business needs)

Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Processing approximately 100 incoming payments daily for corporate and business accounts.
• Matching incoming bank payments and credit transactions to outstanding invoices.
• Reconciling payments, invoices, and account balances to ensure accuracy.
• Entering payment information and financial data into the company’s internal accounting system.
• Reviewing discrepancies and assisting with resolving payment allocation issues.
• Working with invoices, credit memos, payment terms, and other accounts receivable documentation.
• Communicating through standardized email templates as needed.
