Job summary

Wanzek Construction, Inc. is offering an on-the-job apprenticeship focused on core construction skills, safety orientation, and foundational knowledge across industrial, wind and solar construction.

Apprentices will learn through formal training and on-the-job experiences, maintain logs, complete tests, and develop practical abilities under journeyman supervision, with similar entry tasks and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 to 4,000 on the job training hours.
• Experience using basic power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit an enthusiasm to learn.
• Attend formal training and complete on-the-job training.
• Keep log of on-the-job training activities.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Observe health and safety procedures.
• May operate hand and power tools and perform general tasks involving physical labor.
• Follow instructions clearly and work well as part of a team.
