Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking motivated apprentices to learn core construction skills under supervision. The program covers safety, math, hand tools, power tools, drawings, basic rigging and first aid, with progression toward industrial, wind and solar construction.

You will attend formal training, complete on-the-job tasks, and maintain logs while building relationships with team and clients. Wanzek-affiliated apprenticeship opportunities may be available through MasTec.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0 to 4,000 on-the-job training hours.
• Experience using basic power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit an enthusiasm to learn.
• Attend formal training and complete on-the-job training.
• Keep log of on-the-job training activities.
• Promote and comply with safety policies.
• Meet deadlines and work on strict schedules.
• Learn and perform general tasks involving physical labor.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
