Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is offering an apprenticeship program where new hires learn core construction skills under the supervision of a journeyman.

You'll cover safety orientation, construction math, hand and power tools, drawings, rigging and material handling, and advance toward specialization in Industrial, Wind and Solar Construction. Responsibilities include attending formal training, completing on-the-job training, log-keeping, passing tests, and developing professional relationships while adhering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0 to 4,000 on-the-job training hours; experience with basic power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit an enthusiasm to learn.
• Attend formal training and complete on-the-job training.
• Complete all homework to build knowledge and skillset.
• Keep log of on-the-job training activities.
• Complete all tests, presentations, and other evaluations.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Observe health and safety procedures.
• Promote and comply with company safety policies.
• Follow Journeyman/Supervisor directions.
