Job summary

The Axel Group, LLC is seeking a Construction Administrator for our client, a renowned architecture and design firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region. The role emphasizes construction-phase oversight, documentation management, and collaboration with design teams, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality projects across education, civic, and commercial sectors.

You will lead site visits, manage RFIs and submittals, conduct meetings, and apply technical judgment to resolve field conditions

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction-phase activities, liaison between design team, clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Lead site visits and construction meetings to monitor progress and address issues.
• Manage project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, updates to drawings).
• Provide construction administration to support quality control and meet project needs.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and conformance with contract documents.
