Job summary

ADS Services Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks an Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to manage weekly AP and payroll tasks within a fast-paced construction environment.

You will collaborate with project managers to approve expenses and timesheets, deliver P/L reports, and ensure timely invoice and timesheet entry. The role requires QuickBooks proficiency, strong Excel skills, and experience with AIA/SOV docs; familiarity with lien releases is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior accounting experience is required.
• Proficient with QuickBooks.
• Strong Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly accounts payable and payroll functions.
• Review and approve project expenses with project managers.
• Provide P/L reports to project managers.
• Ensure accurate and timely timesheet and invoice entry.
• Field calls from subcontractors and vendors.
• Submit pre-qualifications to customers/vendors.
• Maintain company licensing and certifications.
• Create and manage certified payroll from subcontractors.
• General filing and administrative tasks.
• Administer E-Verify for new hires.
• Learn and adapt to various billing software.
