Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction accounting experience or equivalent.
• Training or experience in computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up customers and ensure credit worthiness.
• Input job information accurately and timely in accounting system.
• Process and track sales tax forms when required.
• Enter contracts, budgets and change orders with approvals.
• Issue certificates of insurance and track endorsements and requirements.
• Maintain filing system for billings and contracts.
• Process Lump-Sum (AIA), Time & Material and Cost-Plus projects.
• Process waivers, notices and liens; notarize where required.
• Perform collections on outstanding balances; document status.
• Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to GL.
• Maintain customer accounts and deposit cash receipts.
• Back up receptionist and provide accounting department support.
