Aleut Mechanical - AMPH in Fairbanks, AK seeks an Accounting Specialist to support daily construction accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and project costing. The role reports to the Controller/Assistant Controller and requires accurate, detail-oriented work in a regular full-time capacity.

Candidate should have 2–5 years of construction accounting experience, proficiency in Excel/Word, and knowledge of project cost tracking. DOE pay range is $70k–$80k with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented accounting work in construction environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience with construction job costing and project accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity.
• Assist with monthly close and financial reporting.
• Support payroll and job costing accuracy.
